Most of these samples are from driving a bespoke dual Look Mum No Computer Safety Valve VCA that has some wiring issues into self-oscillation, and running that signal through a valve distortion module I built. These are unaltered and unmolested. There are EXTREMELY harsh frequencies. They are not pretty and they are not nice, but you can make some wild shit with them, I promise.

The samples that are tuned are very approximate. Ignore any BPM information on these, I have no idea what the BPM actually is for any of them.

Also, I recorded some audio that I got from a preamp I tried to design and build used the 6AK5 pentode. I couldn't get it to work right, but it made some crazy-ass sounds that I recorded.

ADDENDUM 6 MARCH 2023:

In the time since I designed and built the above module, I have learned a metric fuck-ton of things about working with tubes, about designing tube circuits, and about tweaking things - generally, just more experienced. While the module works, I am kind of embarrassed to show it to anyone, knowing what I know now about these things. I don't even know how the damn thing works with 12V going through 1.5 megohms to the plate... that leaves almost no current for the tube to operate. But, it works. WIERD.
